Clean and nice location, close to Haymarket station, easy access to the city
Good breakfast, gorgeous single room. A hairdryer, a walk-in shower and fresh towels were a plus. It deserves its 3 stars.
The room was lovely and clean and well located, only 1 minute walk from Haymarket train and tram
Staff were HELPFUL, rooms and common area were very clean. Walking distance to Hau Han, where you can have lunch. Thanks, would book again.
The accommodation had everything we needed for our trip, we loved facilities and breakfast. There was Edinburgh Waverley train station, located near the hotel. The double room had a heating system, an iron and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Staff was extremely welcoming.
The room was clean, comfortable & spacious & the breakfast was very good with plenty of choice.
The unintusive efficiency and friendliness of the staff
Staff friendly - room very clean if not big - breakfast good
Parking is a real problem - especially if you arrive before 6 and want to leave after 8 in the morning - due to current tram works roads were chaotic in the area
My 10 year old son an d I stayed for four nights at the Lairg. Everything was simply perfect. Just a 10 minutes walk to the very center of the town , we appreciated especially the tasteful decoration of the rooms, the cleanliness and the friendly and helpful staff. And the brakfast, of course. You don't need lunch after it.. I'm sure we'll be back with the whole family!
Personable staff, good breakfasts, and convenient to Edinburgh
Long way up to carry luggage
High standard of bedroom; design and comfort. Breakfast very good, with a good selection, but would like a bit more variety on the plate when the vegetarian option is chosen.
The room we were given was very comfortable, spacious, and with lots of light. The staff was very good and provided an excellent service. The breakfast was good too. I would always recommend it to anyone, on a budget, looking for a comfortable stay. Location is good too.
At times there is quite a delay when you order breakfast. The internet was sloe, and you get connected only in certain areas.
Large airy room, good breakfast, international guests
location very central easy for bus routes, taxis, train station. friendly and informative staff. very helpful.
Sounds petty but T.V. reception was very poor. Did'nt get the twin room booked, got a double and single.
The full breakfast was most enjoyable. The host was very helpful on all matters. The garden in the back was very nice & the room was quite spacious. We thououghly enjoyed our stay at the Lairg.
